I should have done a search on the list but now I recall some of that discussion.
Not sure of the value of "unsuppressed" expected error messages but no problem. I'll check first.

Thanks,

Dennis,

No message will be suppressed related to RULES/CONSTRAINTS
violation.

There is no mercy when it comes to data integrity <g>.

Based on the discussion on this list, on December 3, 2003,
it was decided to implement that feature in Update 68.

You may want to refer to the following two threads back in
December 3, 2003 and September 15, 2004.

==============================================================
12/03/2003 Subject: Re: Messages Off

Using the RBG7 Update 68 (Build:7.0.68.21203) and higher,RULE
and Constraint -ERROR- messages will be displayed even when
general MESSAGES and ERROR MESSAGES are SET to OFF.

9/15/2004 Subject: Re: Hiding error messages

Use the enhanced feature to turn off specific -ERROR- message(s),
up to five messages at a time.

SET ERROR MESSAGE #### OFF
-- Do what you have to do here ...
SET ERROR MESSAGE #### ON
==============================================================

Hope that helps to clarify any confusion!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
