Interesting troubles you have, Gunnar. I am not sure that I will be going to the conference this year, yet. The last thing I used to resolve a knotty (naughty?) problem like this was to get and run "Registry mechanic". My problem was not with an RBTI product, but it did resolve the problems I was having uninstalling something else. I am running XP PRO SP2 on an IBM ThinkPad, so I don't think your problems will be with the operating system being incompatible.
