I wish that was all I needed.
in forms design, the field shows up with the proper table.objectname also in properties.
Table settings are correct and all is check marked
This is a head scratcher.

Bernie,

Right click on object, Object Properties, make sure that table and field are
assigned.

On Tables | Add Remove | Table settings, make sure that Add new rows, etc...
are checked.

I have a form that when I edit a field, it does not update the table.
I have deleted the object and replaced it - no change.
It is definitely not read only.
This form is based on a single table.
I made up another form with only that field on it and I am able to change
the value.

I hate to redo the entire form, so can anyone think of something else to
check?
