I have printed labels on many different types of printers from Zebra label printers,
HP laser printers to OkiData 320 dot matrix. Including barcodes, graphics and plain text. The only issue I have had is with Zebra drivers, you can set the printer to respond to the driver/software settings or to settings coded in the printer ROM (ignoring the driver/software settings). Once I configure the printer correctly, it works fine.
Perhaps more information of your settings, hardware and label program would shed some light.

Has anyone ever gotten anything other than laser labels to work. I have a Doctors office that is trying to print chart labels. Their okidata dot matrix wouldn't work at all - tried Labels in rbase and tried Reports. They bought a thermal printer that prints sideways (Dymo labeler) - Rbase won't print to it sideways.Any suggestions would be appreciated.Steve
