Sub-reporting will be slower due to the nature of it. I mean that you have all the functions available in the sub as in the main. And you can have multiple subs. So its like a having a pass setting set to multi-multil-multi.
 
I would check all your indexing to make sure they are proper. But that is about all I can offer.
 
I haven't downloaded the new update yet so maybe thats in there.

Having just set up my first report using a sub-report I find the printing to be extremely slow. It is not the network though, CPU utilisation for RBG75.EXE is at 50% and the report does take a while, to say the least.  Are you aware of anything one should, or shouldn’t do to improve performance ?
