Jan, I bet the focus was on the main table and not the sub table when you clicked on the bit button with pre-defined action of add row. So, first what you need to do is to make sure that the focus is on the "correct" table and then clicking on the Bit Button with Add Row option will add a new row to the focused table accordingly.
