And thanks for tempering my flat paranoia. I think you're probably right... I'm in one of those decision-making mindsets when evaluation of all the pros and cons and options is happening. My LBS does a fair bit of 650A work and between the two Schwalbes (they don't have Col de la Vie right now)... I'm going for the Marathons right now. These are regular HS 368 Marathons, by the way, not the HS 348 Marathon Plus (which are a half pound heavier, each!). But I am also reading generally good things about the Col de la Vie so I'll probably buy a set of those soon enough and draw my own conclusions.
