Here ya go Paul...my setup which I think is perfect...(for me). I always go back to this setup after trying different bars and shifters. I have tried brifters (too easy to damage during a fall or fill them with dirt), bar end shifters (same problem), mustache bars, WTB dirt drops, Salsa bell lap bars, flat bars and butterfly bars. The most comfortable set up for me is: Nitto noodles with paul thumbies (with shimano shifters), interrupter levers, V-brakes with Cane Creek levers and gel pads and gel/cork tape. In addition this setup protects my shifters from breakage and or getting filled with dirt when a tipover occurs on a trail.
