Paint is relatively cheap as is a new powder coating. I'd buy the bike if it was bile green or barnyard brown as long as it was solid and performed. Every bike I ride eventually gets thrashed so a new color is a fun way to make something a little different and protect the tubing for a few more years. I think Riv did the right thing with the new color. Silver is also easy to get touch up paint to match. Go Riv! Wish I could afford to buy one now.
