It is encouraging to hear of another example of "cultivating a small
group of individuals who enjoy a tour rather than a race and have
embraced the thought of a rolling bicycle adventure/picnic".  I am
beginning to see references this type of thing more and more in these
discussion groups and on blogs.

I enjoy a similar riding style, but miss the some of the social
benefits of the "club training rides" I once did on a regular basis.

Thanks for the ride report and the inspiration to, perhaps, cultivate
my own small group...
