I used the black safety releases that come with the set of SKS fenders.  I
thought I'd use the feature more than I do, but found that when set up so
that I have clearance in all three gear combos, there's enough give in the
fender that it doesn't even pop out when I drop the wheels out (with JB's)

I'm fenderless right now, but when set up, it looks like this -

(And the fenderline was improved a little this past winter from the photos -
but my main goal is to set it up so I can run three gear combos.)
