In the most recent which-bike-should-I-choose post a couple people mentioned touring with a BOB trailer. Does anyone have insight about the pros/cons of using a BOB trailer on extended tours? I assume it is a matter of riding style and preference but it would be nice to hear from some people with experience. As background the specific touring rig is my 54cm Saluki - do all bike. I have carried heavy loads both on a BOB trailer and with racks and panniers on this bike but only for day trips or occasional errand runs. How might my either method translate over, say, three weeks?
