If you're contemplating doing the dirt part of the Lost Coast, pay attention to water. I'm pretty sure there is no water to be had south of Wailaki campground, until you get to Westport: no faucets, no creeks. At this time of year, with this drought, Usal Beach probably has no water other than sea water.
