With that much seatpost showing, it's no wonder she wanted to get her bars higher. Is the frame a couple sizes too small? No expensive wheel conversions on bikes that don't fit.
Maybe that Riv deadstock Nitto stem and an alba bar would get her upright without scrunching her up.
