Hey Pudge, what do the VO pedals truly measure on the bike , in mm's ? I mean if you put a measuring tape against the arm and out to the end ? And is the fore/aft measurement of the body itself also truly 100mm's ? (From the front edge to the back edge of the body)
I ask this because it seems there is no defined standard of what a pedal *actually *measures . So manufacturer dimensions can be misleading . For example, Wellgo MG-1's and all similar type while they list them at 114.6 x 106.2 x 30.2 , the actual for/aft of the body is more like 93mm . The width is accurate. The inconsistency of the for/aft is due to the design of this and most BMX type 2 sided pedals is more like a parallelogram if you look at it from the side. So the manufacture listed for/aft is for the total , but the actual usable platform of each side is considerably less. . The VP Harrier is the widest I have yet found, 120mm wide ! 120 x 110 x 12 mm's ! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
