I got a Mountain morph on tour, works very well for topping up tires in the morning. Trying to add 5lbs with a frame pump with the wheel on the bike is difficult.
I still carry a frame pump when not on tour, I use the Demetri method and brace the pump head on my foot or fence post, I can quickly explode a tube with his method. Pumps are controlled by barrel volume, not matter what the ad says, so mini pump are always slow and annoying, with or without bamboo trim.
