I converted my Redwood (less fancy Ram) to 650b. It currently has 48mm tires with room for fenders. Clearance is tight at the chainstays but doable so far. Using long reach Tektros, you might need to file a little depending on rim and brake pads. It easily is my favorite bike after the conversion. David Chicago
