I have tried different ways to carry a camera and lenses on my bike, and so
far have settled on the following preferred ways:
- An f-stop ICU (internal camera unit) that easily fits inside whatever bag
I happen to carry on my front basket. Particularly well suited for the
medium Sackville Shopsack. I use it primarily to carry a Leica with a lens
attached and a spare lens. It also fits a larger DSLR with a zoom lens. I
haven't yet tried fitting it on an Acorn Rando Bag, but I think it should
fit well inside; will verify and report.

It seems to be out of stock now, but available on Amazon for a higher
price, not sure why.
- Zimbale camera insert for a Carradice saddlebag:

This one is larger, but access to the camera gear requires dismounting the
bike, which is not so bad in itself, just not as practical as having the
camera gear in the front.

With any of these options, carrying the camera bandolier style when the
shooting occurs frequently is a given. Need to find a good way to prevent
the camera from falling towards the front, which is an issue with the
heavier cameras.
