The longboy rack is orderable from www.rivbike.com as of 9:37AM Pacific 
time.  I tried to put 12 in my basket and it gave me 4.  I did not buy any 
yet.  

This is only tangentially related to the OP, but for those who are dwelling 
on what they will put on their Appaloosa, I will point out that the silver 
prototype that has a Nitto rear rack and fenders on it.....that is not a 
longboy rack.  That's just the normal "Medium 32R".  That extra pair of 
eyelets, brazed to the seatstay a few cm up from the dropout allow you to 
run a "normal" rear rack, even with your really long chainstays.  Granted, 
the prototype does not have full-length chainstays, but it's close.  So, 
you can run the longboy on the Appaloosa if you want to, but you won't have 
to.  I was eyeballing it on that prototype for saddlebag positioning, and 
it looked like it would work great.  I had been worried that a saddlebag 
might be funky on a longstay bike, but it looks do-able.
