Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation. I've never dealt with one of
these personally, but what about attaching the rear rack stays to the
rail eyelet of the rack?

(I've very curious about this because I was considering using a
pletscher on a joe appaloosa, and I like bigger tires, too.)
