I'm a bit mystified by the thumbshifters being mounted inboard like that. It seems to me it would take some gymnastics to get your thumb/fingers over there. My Bike Friday has Silvers on Paul Thumbies mounted on the outside of V-O Porteur bars where it's simple to hit it with my thumb, fingers, or punt it with the base of my palm. Easy peasy!
