I'm not an huge fender lover here in mostly-not-rainy California, but my 26-inch-wheel Clem is going to need 'em. At the moment it has a Pletscher rack, Carradice bag, and skinny Continental 1.5 slicks. My aesthetic sense tells me racked/bagged bikes should have fenders, and this is exacerbated on the Clem with the giant amount of clearance left around the itty bitty (but I like them) tires I'm using.
There's no specific SKS fender listed on the Riv site for 26-inch wheels, they seem to go mostly by tire width.
