Agreed. I also found the stays seem a bit flimsy holding the weight of the 
plastic fenders. Doesn't really seem to hook up strong like the wrap around 
fender stays of aluminum. I've had the VO alum fenders, and went to SKS for 
a few bikes, but my next set of fenders, I'm going back to VO Fenders.
