Going up from Gunnison was hard, descending down the other side to Salida was 
even worse. Probably the toughest descent I’ve ever done—miles and miles of 
hanging onto the brakes to keep from going too fast (and keeping my cadence at 
a safe level). 

Pikes Peak looks fun. I hope to try that sometime.
