Iirc he offered me this bike(or a 54 he had but looks like same pics) for my birthyear price of 1968. I asked about another bike once and he admitted he was asking for too much and came down. So don't be afraid to low ball. If you get any work done on it before shipping, ask to speak with Charles Pliesse. He built my Bleriot no muss no fuss. Nice guy to deal with.
