That's a good point, John. I have big tires on my Appaloosa and the CX70s clear them easily with one end of the cable yoke unhooked. Also, to reiterate my earlier post, I can't recommend these brakes enough. Great modulation, great power, no squeals, they just work. The only drawback is my other bikes have v-brakes and now I'm annoyed with them ;-)
