Another question, if I may, now that I'm looking at the finished build: 
 Those SRAM S500 levers - the manf.'s literature on the Web says their 
adjustable for many applications.  I assume that they were adjustable 
enough to work with the canti's you're using without the need for a travel 
agent?  They look like very nice brake levers with good ergonomic 
qualities.
