Hi All, I have a question about installing a rear rack on my Sam. The two
rear struts are able to mount to two different locations on the frame. One
option is to mount the strut midway down the seatstay and the other is to
mount it on the frame near the rear hub area. Does it matter which one you
choose? Ascetically I like the way the mid seat stay mount looks. That
said, I am guessing there would be more structural support by mounting the
struts more in a straight line facilitated by the rear hub area mount. My
plan for this rack is to mainly have it support a medium Sackville bag. The
bag will of course be secured to the back of the saddle bearing at least
some of the load. Can I get some thoughts as to the best place to connect
the rear struts?
