I actually came here to post a lament about the loss of what is probably the only "true" 700x28mm road tire out there. I simply cannot believe that ruffy tuffy/rolly polly sales are not enough to support having a new set of molds made. At the very least, I hope that whomever makes the tires (Panasonic?) decides to make an identical tire all their own to make up for this. I won't say that this decision has me pissed off, because, hey, it's just a bike tire. However, often enough in recent memory I've asked myself silently "why the hell would/did Grant/Riv do that?" that I now understand that my Riv phase might be coming to an end.
I might even pick up a couple spares, before they're all gone... Pete
