Most comfortable platform pedal I have ever pedaled is the Canfield
Cramp-on Ultimate. The new Mountain version looks good too, but have no
first hand experience.

The are convex! Not concave. They need some lube now and then, but so far
they have held very well on the MTB. Very spendy, but more comfy than
Wellgo MG-1, VP, GripKing, Shimano, MKS touring, etc. Feeling on the foot
is like amazingly comfortable arch support with no pressure where I don't
like it. I can ride them for hours in nothing but a pair of thin soled
bedrock sandals.

For lower price the MG-1 are hard to beat. Light, strong, trouble free. I
have approx. 30,000 miles on one set and it is still going strong.
