Hey, BellBOBs: Indeed, you are correct sir -- SPUR CYCLE bells are the Campy Nuovo Record of dingers. The joy is if you have a few bikes then you're helping keep these guys going and that's a good thing.
We bought our first one on the Kickstarter program several years ago and once it came had to have them all around. It's a tiny jewel of engineering and altho $$ for its size, the sound is BIG and BRIGHT and wakes you up. Like the little wrens at our bird feeders, you simply can't believe such a tiny object sings such a big beautiful song. The only discord they strike is this: I ride a lot with my son, and altho he has them on his bikes, too, he cringes when I acknowledge our fellow riders in passing. Being the cheerful chap I am, I just can't help ringing and waving. One pal (affectionately I think) calls me the 'ice cream man'. Why have the thing if you don't use it, right?
