Ah ha! Thanks for the catch, Steve. So that’s a 3” smaller wheel. Another error I made is I didn’t double the tire delta, so the diameter delta in tire is actually 1.6”, so while my math was confused, the concept is right because the two errors offset each other and the end result is close to a 700c wheel. IF I didn’t confuse myself even more. Sardonic grin.
Bottom line conclution is IF this is possible it suddenly makes this a very utilitarian bike, at least for me, with the ability to be both my winter bike and my go fastish adventure bike (Quickbeam with gears and even plusher tires).
