Hi Joe, My shaving technique is very Luddite. I bought some end cutting nippers, inflate tire to max and nip as close to casing as I can. I am left with a very shallow, flat knob. Better traction than RTP and seem to roll as well. Very good on hard packed dirt roads I ride a lot.
