I am running 38mm Compass Barlow Pass EL (no fenders). 38mm Little Big Bens would also be an option. The Barlow Pass tires clear Tektro R559 Sidepulls when the QR is closed. Using centerpulls would allow something even larger. Lots of clearance on the rear - on the front it is the brake that limits tire size.
