Phil: I think most people "feel" the difference bacause it looks odd to them. In the last couple years I've owned an Appaloosa, a couple Clems, and now a Cheviot. I've gotten used to the long stays look..right now I'm gazing at my Chev and Pashley road bike and the Pashley rear wheel is so close to the seattube!
