I’ve always loved the regular b17 on my Sam (3-4 years). When I moved it to my Brompton, I replaced it with the sprung b17 Special specifically because I loved the shape of the regular. I now love having the same seat sprung. It does smooth some bumps. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it creaks a little. Worth it for the ride quality.
