I for one hate disc brakes, especially hydraulic disc brakes. Every time I 
remove a wheel I have to readjust the brakes and it is difficult to see the 
disc/pad interface to adjust them, Bleeding them is also a PITA. I have 
zero problems with sidepull, centerpull, catilevers and drums - simple to 
adjust, no bleeding necessary. Not fond of V-brakes either. But I have been 
working on the old stuff for fifty years. I am not opposed to all new 
technology - I love belt drive.
