John, I see fenders happening in a little. I agree the bike would look better with them. The past few rides, dirt is accumulating and I know fenders would block the dirt. I have to dig up my patience and a few hours to put them on. I got the hang of building up bikes and did not create any instant beasuage with this build. Fenders on the other hand are my arch nemesis.
Brynnar. I put on the Nitto NTC-DX to help know the specific stem. The reach is 60cm. I have not had any issues with flex. I am not sure if I can attribute it to the stem. I haven’t ridden any other bars with this stem or other stems with the bars so I don’t have a comparison or reference point. I generally don’t lean hard on the bars, so not sure if that is a factor.
