Hi all- Lookin' to my fellow Rivsters for tips on Death Valley.
Headin' there for a week with my sis. Looking to do hikes and backpacking if resources allow. We're fairly experienced desert backwoodsies but know little about DV. We'll be driving in from Vegas with a rental car, but nothing with clearance for jeep roads. Our backs are good for schlepping enough water for an overnighter, but maybe not two. Dunno how the whole government being shut down thing will affect this but we'll just hafta find out. Any info much appreciated!
