Thanks for revealing your reasons for liking DT shifters. They make sense.

I was curious because I'm still trying to get used to DT shifting on my
recently built RB-1 (see photo at <http://bit.ly/cv0R5m>) after spending a
year with just bar-ends on my Romulus. Personally I still prefer the
convenience and stability of reaching for the bar-end and am not yet fully
comfortable balancing while reaching down for the DTs (and not grabbing the
wheel by mistake, ouch)… but I'll give myself a few more months of learning
before considering bar-end-ing 'em. :)
