It's gotten to the point I almost never do a build without a dynamo. I started using them several years ago and with the lightness of the new hubs and the brightness of the new LED lights it's really a nobrainer. I run my lights all the time & I never realized how huge of a difference it made until the first time I rode without one. Suddenly, people were pulling out right in front of me or cutting me off. I thought I was just having a bad day, until I got to work & realized "No light!"
