Brian. I had the same idea for my Sam. At my LBS they had 3 shades of dark blue cork....all Bike Ribbon I think and some blue Cateye cloth. The Cateye cloth looked to be the best, although not perfect. I should note that I don't distinguish subtle shade differences in color any more, and that blue stripe is mighty narrow on the bike so I'm not sure I'd be a good one to choose a color. I decided to go with orange Bike Ribbon cork which I shellaced with Bullseye amber. This matched the honey Brooks really well. They (LBS) had some light blue cork that matched the headbadge pretty well. Hope this helps, Clyde
