Also (climbs back on soapbox because I meant to add the Melanie shoutout), I think Melanie is right about the custom mixte being ordered in the Roadeo weight class, which I think is similar to my new Frank Jones. Transposing from that bike to mine, hoo boy is there a weight difference you feel lifting AND riding. I'm probably pushing the load limit on this frame (I'll be careful how hard I push it, definitely not loading bags up on this one), but I think it would be perfect for lighter folks like Leah and Melanie.
But I wouldn't worry about it being TOO flimsy; customs are ordered to your size, weight and riding style.
