After answering my own, earlier foolish question, I played with it and find it oddly close to my current practice for some tires, oddly off for others.
65 MM Big Apples, 200 total, 45/55: 12/16, which is close to what I run in sand but quite a bit lower than I run on pavement. 33 mm Jack Browns: 48/61 (haven't yet bothered to look at actual pressure, but sounds about right). 29 mm (actual) IRC Tandem 30s: 61/76 compared to 70/80. 23 mm 571 Conti GPs: 91/113 compared to usual 90/100 22 mm 559 Turbos: 98/121, far more than the usual 90/100 Just for fun: the 19 mm 622 Turbos I used to run on my '89 Falcon: 125/155 (a *lot* higher than I could ever get with my Silca Imperio, even with Campy head). All of these calculations use 170 lb plus 30 lb bike and kit which ranges from a bit high for the 23s to way low for the Motobecane loaded with groceries. -- Patrick Moore Albuquerque, NM For professional resumes, contact Patrick Moore, ACRW at [email protected] (505) 227-0523 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
