Hmm...I can't believe this thread is still going. I only meant it as a rant. Anyway, I was thinking about how the guy who buzzed me took off when he saw me pull out my phone. My phone is in a holster on the strap of my backpack. When viewed from a rearview mirror, it's hard to know just what I would be pulling out so maybe it was a bit of deterrence. Maybe he thought I was pulling something else out.
