Looking at the geometry charts it appears that the 50cm Cheviot has 45cm chainstays , so short by Riv’s current standards. Also with sidepull brakes (not sure how this works with room for fat tires). Can anyone comment on this?
Right now I have 2 Rivs with toptubes and am fine with them. A step thru might be nice if one of these can be found...... a knee replacement and bad back might make this viable. Your info on this bike especially the tire clearance would be appreciated. I am not a fan of the long chainstay models. Fenders would not be used, I ride in dry conditions.
