bicyclerepairium (sorry not sure what else to call you by!): I reckon that, while the Bombadil is an awesome bike and I love how mine rides, the Appaloosa probably has its own strengths and is more comfy / compliant with that long frame! Undoubtedly if I didn't have the Bombadil, I'd end up with a Sam / Joe combination. Just both immensely useful bikes, though I could say the same about the Platypus and well, most Rivs.
