I love the Rene Herse options but if the conditions aren't perfect, Panaracer Paselas are just so good on damp/wet roads for confidence braking and cornering. I run the biggest (38s) on my two mainly road bikes, the Homer and the Holdsworth. If they made a 42-44 in the Pasela I probably wouldn't go back to the much more expensive Jan Heine creations.
