| Count me in. I met Patrick several weeks ago down in the bosque and then had some personal issues arise that put a crimp in my riding but things are pretty much back to normal now.

Do you want me to advertise on the Boblist? Probably few Rivendell riders who are not on the RBW list, but we may get a few sympathetic souls; there is even more ideological overlap between the lists than membership overlap, and both groups started with Grant.
Bikes and Coffee: no, I’ve not been there, but I would be delighted to try it out.
Let’s wait for a couple of days to see if others respond. IME, many RBW list members don’t read the list every day.
I had a nice fixed gear 27 mile rolling hills ride this morning with a friend (on a Black Mountain Monster Cross 2X11) and I am surprised at how good I feel afterward. I would have gone a full 35 miles but I didn’t eat breakfast and didn’t bring a snack, so bailed as my blood sugar bottomed out. We'll see what if any response I get, but as of now we should have at least 3 because my wife is now a Riv rider, too. She's concerned about keeping up but I told her this needn't be a particularly long or fast ride. I've done a couple of 20-25 mile rides with her and those went well, so she'll be fine. BTW, I bet I already asked, but have you tried Bike In Coffee? I've been there twice now and really like it. They've got a pretty decent selection of food and it's such a nice place to hang out. I think both times we went it was Sunday morning and there was a jazz band playing some mellow stuff.

17 years ago last March, March 2008, we had Albuquerque’s first and only iBob ride and collected riders from as far north as Los Alamos as well as several from here in town. But while there’s overlap between the iBob list and the RBW list I don’t think a great deal of it happens in ABQ.
At any rate, I just had a good 2-person ride this morning and would enjoy a 2-person Official Albuquerque Rivendell Ride, if we stop at Flying Star at or near the end of the ride. (I started without breakfast this morning and brought no food so this morning did not complete the final 8 mile RT to/from the starting point but bailed at 26 miles 1 mile from my house. A Flying Star stop would have made those remaining 8 miles a doddle.)
I will ride my all-time fave, the ’99 Joe fixed, with or without a 2-speed IGH rear wheel.
Hi ABQ Area Riv Owners,
Inspired by the Dallas TX group, I would like to invite any Riv owners in the ABQ area (maybe even Santa Fe?) to participate in a group ride on a yet to be determined date. Why do this? To get to see and maybe ride some other Rivs, to get to meet some other bike lovers that aren't interested in following all the latest biking trends, to learn about new bike routes, etc. Patrick Moore has already told me he'd be glad to participate. Let me know if you are interested in participating or if you have any questions or suggestions.
