Interesting idea, Patrick. I'm disappointed to have so carefully organized this, negotiated with people about day/time, etc. and then not gotten anyone that I didn't already know (not that I didn't like riding with you guys). But maybe another way to do it is for you and I just to come up with an ~monthly ride where we pick the date, time, and route and just broadcast that to the group and tell them anyone is welcome to come and there is no need to RSVP: we'll do that ride on that day at that time (we can plan to chat for 10 minutes to give people a chance to show up). We'll get a ride out of it whether anyone shows up or not, and maybe we'll gradually build up a core group. What do you think?
